The Cabinet Secretary for Justice Michael Matheson today announced the appointment of David Crawford as Convener to the Risk Management Authority alongside three new members; Aileen Burnett, Jane Davey and Terry Powell.

Updated Standards and Guidelines for Risk Management published

Updated Standards and Guidelines for Risk Management 2016 contains a number of minor amendments, designed to clarify guidance on the preparation of the Annual Implementation Report (AIR). The redevelopment of the Standards and Guidelines been informed by a review of the previous publication with feedback from Order for Lifelong Restriction (OLR) Case Managers and the RMA Delivery Team.

Moving Forward: Making Changes - Evaluation of implementation and training

The Moving Forward Making Changes (MF:MC) programme is an intervention aimed at adult sex offenders across the scottish prison service and the community. The RMA undertook evaluations of the community implementation of the Moving Forward: Making Changes programme and the training delivered as part of this.
