RMA Training

The Risk Management Authority’s newly-developed Risk Assessment Report Writing module was issued to candidates this month.

We are grateful for the assistance given to us by the School of Forensic Mental Health who developed this module on our behalf, employing a number of highly respected individuals to author the various sections of the module.

This learning opportunity is offered as part of our commitment to promoting best practice, and to encourage the development of advanced risk assessment report writing skills. The course is designed to the standards of report writing that are set by the RMA for Accredited Assessors writing Risk Assessment Reports (RAR) when an Order for Lifelong Restriction is being considered. As such it is a significant undertaking for candidates with challenging material and scope for professional development.
